Bad CGI Sharks

A low poly feature film

Think watching bad sharks movie sucks? Try living one!
Two estranged brothers are brought back together when a script they’re writing comes to life and sends a poorly rendered digital shark to hunt them down in this meta take on the sharksploitation genre that ends up being a tribute to creativity itself.
Bad CGI Sharks is a low budget indie movie, shot mostly in guerrilla style in Los Angeles, born from a deep love for Cinema, B-Movies and Nerd puns.

The marketing materials is winking to the 80s movie poster styles and theย campaign targeted the subjects who would like and have fun with the title, B-movie and special effects fans, making it work as a bait (excuse the pun) and attract more viewers.

The limited edition release of the movie, in Blu-Ray and VHS, started during the Shark Week 2019 supported by the release of a GIF set that have collected more than 3 Millions views in two weeks on Giphy.

Released by SRS Cinema in Blu-Ray, DVD and a limited stock of VHS.
